West Loop University Medicine, Ltd. 1725 W. Harrison, 312-942-6013 May 18, 2010 To my valued patients, It has been 5 years now since joining the West Loop University Medicine group. Through those years, I have been so privileged that you have entrusted me with your care, as well as the care of your family, relatives, and friends. It is with mixed emotions that I am informing you of my departure from this wonderful internal medicine practice. I have accepted a position in my original home state of Hawaii. Many of you know that I have been away for half of my life, and with my mother’s passing last year, as well as my aging family, I am compelled to return home. While I know this is a surprise to many of you, please know that you have chosen to be a part of a great group of internists. Even though I will no longer be here, my partners will be, and I am sure you will be pleased with any of them. Drs. Lane Mace, Nancy Bryan, Michele Bailey, Frank Kelly, and David Buyer. Also, should you be hospitalized, Dr. Laura Smiricky, our hospitalist, will continue to take care of you. Our certified nurse practitioners also remain with the practice, Tricia Schultz and Tiffani McKenna. My last day will be July 30, 2010. I will continue to be available to see you through the end of my time here at West Loop University Medicine.
