Unique to our practice, all test results will be communicated to the patient with an explanation by your physician, whether the result is normal or abnormal. Test results will generally be mailed to your home or can be sent through this site by secure messaging after review by your physician.  Results are generally sent within seven business days after they are received in our office. 

Some results may not reach our office for two weeks after you have the test performed.  If you have not received results from your physician within three weeks, please let us know, as there is a chance that we also may not have received the results, especially if the test was performed at an institution outside of Rush.

We ask that you keep all your test results in a medical file at your home. In this way, you can be an equal partner in your health care. This system allows you to communicate to your doctor any tests that may be recommended in the upcoming year.
