In order to better serve you we have instituted this website. It is intended to improve communication and reduce your wait times on the phone. We encourage you to use the site to request appointments, request refills, and communicate with your physician when necessary. Urgent matters should be handled by phone. Although the website requires you to put in credit card information in order to use the "ask a doc" feature, not all communication is charged. It is at the discretion of the physician whether to charge. In general, if the communication results in a change of management, medication prescription or is of a complex nature then it will be charged. Otherwise it will not. We encourage website communication as it is more efficient for both you as the patient as well as us. Once you register, we will use the site to securely communicate test results to you. This will allow for more timely results to you than with the US mail system. |
