Dr. Ryan is the hospitalist for the group. In this position he only sees patients admitted to the hospital. He received his medical school training at Queen's University of Belfast in Northern Ireland and then did residency at Belfast City Hospital and South Tyrone Regional Hospital in Northern Ireland. He had further training here at Rush University Medical Center from 1996 to 1999. Upon completing his training he practiced in Hamlet, North Carolina and then returned to Ireland and has been practicing with the United Health Service. Through the years, Dr Ryan has continued to teach medical students and residents.
